If you want your visitors to come back to your site then get your RSS feed set up.

If your not already using it, I suggest you use Feedburner to help you with the setup of your RSS feed.


Every serious blogger publishes a RSS... And readers aggregate all their favorites blogs feeds in an aggregator.

When you publish your RSS feed, your viewers will thank you, and there will be more of them, because it allows them to see your site without going out of their way to visit.

You may think that using the RSS feature will keep people from coming to your site but


without a feed, your viewers have to remember to come to your blog and see if there is anything new posted,

I don't know about you but I have 300 book marks in my favorites list and I don't
remember what 50% of them are...

If you provide a feed for people, they can point their aggregator at it, and it will give them a link and a description of your latest post almost as soon as you click publish.

If you are using a blogger account... You can log in to your account and under settings/site feed
choose the option to keep your feeds Short,

this will give your readers just a small glimpse of your new post without showing your entire article,

this will improve the chances that they will click through to a post that catches their attention and visit your blog.
