Technorati Why You Should Use It

Technorati is one of the best traffic providers for a blogger.

It makes your blog much easier to find when people search technorati tags.

there have been times where I received over 400 visitors in one hour from technorati traffic.

So how does it work?

Based on the number of people who link to you blog,
your blog is given a rank.

A higher rank gives your blog greater visibility in technorati.
The more people who see your blog, the more people who will visit.

First thing you need to do is, claim your blog

sign up for a technorati account and choose to claim this weblog.

They will ask you to verify your blog by either entering your blog User name and password, or by placing a code into your blog site.

Click the checkbox to select “Include this blog in Technorati’s blog Finder” and fill out as many tags or keywords that represent the content in your blog.

Once finished grab your claim code.
And insert it.

Place your code where people can see it, the more visible the technorati link is the more chances you have for someone to click on it ad you to their favorites.

Your Blog Is Going To Fail

fishy1

I was just looking at my book marks and decided to visit a few blogs that I have not been to in a while, the blogs I went to all had something in common. They all had low or no page rankings,

And very little traffic, I am talking about blogs that have been online since 2005 and update their sites almost daily. I figured that I should do some research and find out what they were doing wrong so I could come and share it with you.

I noticed something about those blogs, not only did they all have low page ranks and no traffic but they all made the same mistake,

The mistake was posting way too much information about topics that were not related to their site content.

If you're not trying to make money or get traffic to your blog then that's fine you can blog about anything that you want to.

However if your one of those "few" people who blog to make money then, you need to stop what you're doing and erase all the post's

that have nothing to do with your blog's main focus.

Basically if you created your blog to talk about fish then write about fish, and post links to other fish sites.

Do not post topics about golf related articles in your fish blog.Golf photo

You're confusing the people who come to your site, they thought they were coming to read about fish and you just told them what

the best new golf club on the market is. Your Blog Is Going To Fail.

They call it having a niche

A blog is something completely different then a web site. A blog is a blog.

There aren't any sections or different departments so you can have

numerous topics all in one blog. In a blog you have to focus on one particular topic and write post's that relate to that topic.

It can be a hard thing to do at times, especially if you are posting daily.

However, if you do not choose a niche topic for you blog you might find that readers will either never read or subscribe to your blog, or people will just stop coming to your site.

If you choose a niche topic, you have a greater chance in keeping a targeted audience.

Get Rid Of The Blogger Navigation Bar

Here is the code.. to remove the blogger navigation bar from the top of your blog page.

remove-blogger-navbar1111

Log into your dashboard, go to Template - Edit HTML. Scroll to anywhere on the template and insert this CSS Snippet on the page (within the head section).

<style type='text/css'>
#navbar-iframe {
height: 0px;
}
</style>

That should have removed the navigation bar, you can also place the code below in to your html to reduce the navigation bar to 0, I have used both codes at the same time, this method seems to work the best.

<style type='text/css'>
#navbar-iframe {
visibility: hidden;
}
</style>

and look at that.... you made it disappear.
