Quick Tip On Your Blog Layout

What is the first thing that your visitors see when they come to your site?

Are your headlines and first paragraphs in view above the fold or have you pushed all your content down the page with navigation and advertising?

Does the headline and intro pull the visitor into becoming a reader?

You will wind up loosing 25% of your audience in the first 30 seconds
if they have to go searching for content on your page.

People want to see content when they land on your home page.

Keep the bells and whistles separate from your content, put it on the
side navigation or to towards the bottom of your site.

Now that you have managed to get them to read your article, can you get them to stay ? Make sure you have useful links on your site. What good articles should

they read next, where do they sign up for your newsletter or RSS subscription. They are not going to go searching for content.

Get Rid Of The Blogger Navigation Bar

Here is the code.. to remove the blogger navigation bar from the top of your blog page.

Log into your dashboard, go to Template - Edit HTML. Scroll to anywhere on the template and insert this CSS Snippet on the page (within the head section).

<style type='text/css'> #navbar-iframe { height: 0px; } </style>

That should have removed the navigation bar, you can also place the code below in to your html to reduce the navigation bar to 0, I have used both codes at the same time, this method seems to work the best.

<style type='text/css'> #navbar-iframe { visibility: hidden; } </style>

and look at that.... you made it disappear.
