Your Blog Is Going To Fail

fishy1

I was just looking at my book marks and decided to visit a few blogs that I have not been to in a while, the blogs I went to all had something in common. They all had low or no page rankings,

And very little traffic, I am talking about blogs that have been online since 2005 and update their sites almost daily. I figured that I should do some research and find out what they were doing wrong so I could come and share it with you.

I noticed something about those blogs, not only did they all have low page ranks and no traffic but they all made the same mistake,

The mistake was posting way too much information about topics that were not related to their site content.

If you're not trying to make money or get traffic to your blog then that's fine you can blog about anything that you want to.

However if your one of those "few" people who blog to make money then, you need to stop what you're doing and erase all the post's

that have nothing to do with your blog's main focus.

Basically if you created your blog to talk about fish then write about fish, and post links to other fish sites.

Do not post topics about golf related articles in your fish blog.Golf photo

You're confusing the people who come to your site, they thought they were coming to read about fish and you just told them what

the best new golf club on the market is. Your Blog Is Going To Fail.

They call it having a niche

A blog is something completely different then a web site. A blog is a blog.

There aren't any sections or different departments so you can have

numerous topics all in one blog. In a blog you have to focus on one particular topic and write post's that relate to that topic.

It can be a hard thing to do at times, especially if you are posting daily.

However, if you do not choose a niche topic for you blog you might find that readers will either never read or subscribe to your blog, or people will just stop coming to your site.

If you choose a niche topic, you have a greater chance in keeping a targeted audience.
